Summer Psychology Interns (Class of 2025)

Ana Torresarpi is a third-year undergraduate at the University of Michigan studying psychology and English. She is interested in how people's perceptions of objective truth can lead to certain biases and vulnerability to misinformation. Outside of research, she enjoys music, volleyball, journalism, and watching movies.

Mai-Jeanna Sakho is an (incoming) third-year undergraduate student at the University of Notre Dame, majoring in Psychology with a focus on Pre-Health studies. She is interested in researching various misperceptions of global wealth and poverty and how these misperceptions can influence policy change. Moreover, how social perceptions, inequality, and policy interact with one another. In her free time, Mai-Jeanna enjoys cooking, running, reading, and spending time with her friends.

Zein Saleh is an SROP summer intern in the CSI Lab and an undergraduate student at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where he studies Political Science and Psychology. He is broadly interested in how individuals interpret diversity-related change and group-based inequality, particularly in contexts where questions of status, morality, and discrimination are salient (e.g., political responses to demographic shifts, perceptions of racial hierarchies, and support for egalitarian policies and social movements). In his free time, Zein enjoys cafe‑hopping, traveling, amateur photography, and spending time with friends.
